Welcome Back Wolfpack Families!

Dear Woodland Wolfpack Families,

Welcome to the 2026-27 school year! We are so excited to open our doors and begin another wonderful year together as the Woodland Wolfpack Community. My name is Michelle Wilkerson, and I have the privilege of serving as your school principal. I am joined by two outstanding assistant principals, Mrs. Robyn White and Mr. Corey Davidson, and together we are looking forward to a fantastic year ahead.

COMMUNICATION To keep all families informed and connected throughout the year, we will send a weekly communication every Sunday at 2:00 PM. There will also be times when we send separate messages during the week for time-sensitive updates. Additionally, we will use text messaging through Infinite Campus to send quick reminders the day before important events or deadlines.

SUPPLY LIST, LOCKERS, AND T-SHIRT PRE-SALES Pre-sales for lockers and a WMS student T-shirt is open. Please complete pre-orders through MySchoolBucks: 6th Grade Link ; 7th Grade Link; 8th Grade Link . All students will need a locker. The final day for pre-sales is Thursday, July 30th. BOOKBAG AND TECHNOLOGY POLICY Bookbags will not travel from class to class this year. HCS and WMS are aligned with Focus ON, ensuring all student technology remains powered off from bell to bell. The locker is the safest location for students to store all electronic devices while they are powered off. Ipads or personal laptops will not be used.

NEW RESTROOM PROCEDURES We are introducing a new restroom procedure this school year, which includes: Open restrooms upon arrival and access during lunch. Two whole-class restroom breaks built into the daily schedule. Please review these expectations with your student so we can minimize classroom disruptions during instructional time.

OPEN HOUSE Open House will be held on Thursday, July 30th. Please note this is a clear bag event. To view your child's schedule through Infinite Campus, please ensure the Online Registration has been completed and updated for accurate communication and approved emergency contacts.

SCHOOL COUNCIL AND VOLUNTERRING Our School Council is seeking additional parent representatives. Nominations and elections will be in August. If you are interested in volunteering this school year, please make sure you have a completed and up-to-date background check on file with Henry County Schools.
